A family-owned shop in North Attleboro, doing right by your clothes since 1999.
We have been in business since 1999, and today you’ll find us at 20 Elm Street, next to the fire station. Still family-owned. Still doing almost every step of every order ourselves, on-premises.

New England Dry Cleaners is a Christian-centered, family-owned business in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. We opened in 1999 with a simple idea: do the work ourselves, do it carefully, and treat customers' clothes the way we'd want our own treated. More than 27 years later, that hasn't changed.
What "on-premises" actually means
Almost every dry cleaner in the country sends work out. The shop you walk into may be a counter and a conveyor; the actual cleaning happens at a central plant ten or twenty miles away, mixed in with thousands of other customers' garments. Items get lost. Stains don't get the attention they need. Same-day promises slip.
We do almost everything in our own building. Cleaning, pressing, finishing, inspection: all under one roof at 20 Elm Street. The exceptions are leather and suede cleaning, tailoring beyond basic repairs, wash-and-fold laundry, and area rugs, which we send out to trusted partners. Everything else stays with us.
That on-premises model is why we can offer same-day service Monday through Friday at no extra charge. It's why our quality stays consistent over decades. And it's why almost nothing gets lost, because almost nothing ever leaves our hands.
Why we use hydrocarbon, not perc
Most American dry cleaners still use perchloroethylene ("perc"), a petroleum-derived solvent that has been the industry standard for generations. Perc is effective, but it's harsh on delicate fibers and is increasingly regulated for environmental and health reasons.
We chose hydrocarbon. It's organic, it biodegrades cleanly, and it's gentle enough for silk, cashmere, and beaded garments that perc can damage. The difference is noticeable: a softer hand-feel and longer life from your favorite pieces.
It costs us more. It's worth it.
Same-day, when it matters
Sometimes you need a suit by 4:00 today. Drop it off by 10:00 AM Monday through Friday and it's ready by 4:00 PM the same afternoon, at no extra charge. The promise works because everything we need is in our own building. No shuttle. No middleman. Just us.
Neighbors from across the area
Customers come to us from North Attleboro, Attleboro, Plainville, Mansfield, Wrentham, Norton, Foxboro, and well beyond. We never want anyone to feel limited by a map; if it’s worth the drive to you, you’re welcome here. Drop off at 20 Elm Street, or call us at (508) 699-5625 with any questions before you come in.
Treating people right
Our values shape how we run the shop, and that comes down to one thing: treating customers honestly. Telling you up front when a stain probably won’t fully come out. Replacing buttons at no charge because that’s how we’d want our own laundered shirts handled. Saying “we don’t do that here, but you should try X” when something is genuinely better handled by a specialist.
Some of our customers have been coming since the day we opened. We’ve preserved gowns for their weddings, and now we’re cleaning suits for their kids’ graduations. That continuity (two generations of neighbors) is the part of this work we’re most grateful for.

Bring us your closet.
Whether it's a single suit before a meeting tomorrow, a wedding gown to preserve, or a pile of comforters before guests arrive, we'd be glad to help.
